DANANG & HOI AN

Danang and Hội An are cities on Vietnam’s central coast, with Hoi An known for its well-preserved UNESCO World Heritage Site Ancient Town, set along the river and canals, and Danang known for its sandy beaches. Either option is a good base for your golf holiday as they are only 30 minutes apart.

For those wanting the complete Vietnamese experience then Hoi An (also known as Lantern Town) offers the old world charm along with a vibrant nightlife all within walking distance.

If you prefer the pristine white beaches, a younger nightlife then Danang will work for you. The city and beach side are separated by the Han River with its many bridges. For those looking for entertainment it has a variety of clubs and bars that go long into the night.

BRG Danang Golf Resort

Two very different styles of 18 holes, the newest addition being a Jack Nicklaus course with plenty of water and very much American style. However the gem here is the Greg Norman Ocean Course, which is right up there as one of the best in Vietnam.

Hoiana Shores Golf Club

The latest gem to open on Vietnam’s Golf Cost, designed by Robert Trent Jones Jnr. and a magnificent links course. The wind will play a big part in your game and the way its has been designed means the few holes are next to the sea with amazing views.

Ba Na Hills Golf Club

Very well run club 25 minutes from Danang. The elevation changes and views are spectacular and the condition is immaculate. The facilities are excellent with a 5 star clubhouse and a well stocked Pro-Shop. Night golf is also on offer here.

Montgomerie Links

Links style course which features Casuarina trees which line most of the fairways and the natural waste areas which cut into many of the fairways. Not overly long and water comes into play on quite a few of the holes. It requires accurate approach shots to the well protected greens.

Laguna Lang Co

Ignore the fact that its quite a long transfer (50 minutes), as its very much worth the drive. A wonderful Nick Faldo design with decisions to be made on every tee with the mountains on one side and views of the South China Sea on the other.

Vinpearl Golf Nam Hoi An

Recently opened in 2018 the course is fairly flat and doesn’t have the links style of its better known neighbors. American style with its big white bunkers, it’s good value and generally in very good condition.
