Hua Hin Golf Experience

The seaside town of Hua Hin is located 3 hours south of the capital city of Bangkok and is our most popular destination. It’s easy to see why, with a fantastic year round climate ideal for golfers and short transfer times to the majority of the courses. Nine golf courses are in the immediate area, with the two most well known venues being Black Mountain and Pineapple Valley.

The relaxed atmosphere of Hua Hin makes it popular for all nationalities with top class hotels, great shopping, night markets, massage, international cuisine as well as the popular Thai street food. The recent development of the railway and the extension of the airport make it more accessible than ever.

Pineapple Valley Golf Club

Top class golf course which has now changed its name, well designed on natural terrain with tough greens.  The best caddies in Hua Hin and very well run club. Nothing better than enjoying a cool one after golf overlooking the course and the mountains in the distance.

Black Mountain Golf Club

The highest rated course in Thailand by Golf Digest, had this course in the Top 100 courses outside the US in 2012. Has hosted many tournaments including two European Tour events. All round excellent experience and is generally in great condition and boasts the best practice facilities in Thailand.

Springfield Royal Country Club

A long established favourite in Hua Hin, this course has 27 holes and the A / B courses are the original Jack Nicklaus design and this combination is highly recommended.  A regular stop on the Asian Tour.

Majestic Creek Country Club

This 27 hole gem, is located in the hills west of Hua Hin and is much improved over the last two years and course is in very good shape. The clubhouse has been renovated too, so well worth playing

Lake View Golf Club

36 hole venue, but the lack of water doesn’t always see the course at its best. The A / B is the best combination and the original parkland design.

Palm Hills Golf Club

Another old favourite that gets busy with members in the high season. Definitely worth playing, but be prepared for a few three putts on the severely undulating greens.

Sea Pines Golf Club

One of the few courses in Thailand with wonderful sea views and the last 6 holes here are as good as anything in Hua Hin. Not always in the best condition, we recommend preferred lies but still a lovely experience and great views on the closing stretch.

Royal Hua Hin Golf Club

The oldest golf course in Thailand, built in 1924 by the Scottish Railway workers has stood the test of time and still as popular as ever. Located in the centre of the resort next to the Hua Hin railway station, it retains all the charm of days gone by, and watch out for the monkeys on the closing holes.

Kaeng Krachan (Thai Diamond)

The course is 50 minutes drive and located in one of the largest National Parks in Thailand. At the moment its probably not worth the drive as its not in in great condition and reduced to 18 holes which consists of a Parkland 9 and a Jack Nicklaus 9 which don’t mix very well but the surrounding scenery is nice

Hua Hin City Tour

Always a good way to familiarize yourself with your holiday destination, we can tailor make this tour to suit you, but generally we include, The Royal Palace, Hua Hin Viewpoint, The Floating Market and Big Buddha at Huay Mongkol.

Bamboo Cooking Class

One of our old favourites and not just for the ladies ! Rather than focusing on one dish, this class broadens your Thai cooking knowledge by making multiple recipes, including one curry paste, three dishes (including a curry), and a dessert. Let chef Anya give you tips that you wouldn’t encounter otherwise, selecting the ingredients from her personal garden, and enjoying eating what you have cooked at the end of your course

Monsoon Valley Wine Vineyard

Formerly known as Hua Hin Hills, Monsoon Valley Vineyards is the home of Monsoon Valley Wines, and is part of Siam Winery’s vision to bring wine culture to Thailand. The vineyard is testament to the fact that quality grape-growing is possible in Thailand’s tropical climate.

Golfers and non-golfers alike will be able to learn about tropical viticulture from Siam Winery’s professional team. The Sala, designed by former Norman Foster architect Ms Sylvia Soh, is a Thai-inspired pavilion housing a bistro, wine bar, retail shop and function room. A tour is conducted (possible to tour with an elephant!) and a meal with some of the wine produced is also recommended.

Foodies Night Tour

Exploring Hua Hin’s street food hotspots with a guide this small-group evening tour lets you delve deeper in to the markets and restaurants frequented by locals. Try staples such as sausages and rice balls, visit a salt-crusted fish restaurant, try Thai sweets, and hear background on the dishes you’d otherwise miss. Hotel pickup and drop-off included.

River Kwai / Hell Fire Pass

Full day tour to the province of Kanchanaburi, this tour takes in the War Cemetery, The Bridge over the River Kwai, Jeath War Museum and Hellfire Pass. This tour takes you back to the second world war and will show you what the prisoners of war suffered at the hands of the Japanese.
