Sister course to Alpine Bangkok. 27 holes of excellent golf set in the hills of Chiang Mai. One of the top golf courses in Chiang Mai, with excellent service and facilities.

Chiang Mai Highlands Golf Resort & Spa

Sister course to Mueang Kaew in Bangkok, but a much better golf experience. 27 hotels cut out of the natural features of the land, each providing a good challenge with excellent scenery.

Gassan Legacy Golf Club

Not to be outdone by its sister courses, Gassan Legacy puts up a great fight with the well placed water hazards around the course. The course has an excellent layout and is a hidden gem on the Chiang Mai golf scene.

Gassan Khuntan Golf & Resort

Set in the Khuntan Mountains and the Doi Khuntan National Park. It is considered to be one of the toughest challenges on the Chiang Mai golf scene. A good 18-hole track which offers a unique round compared to its sister courses.

Gassan Panorama Golf Club

Renovated in 2018, this is one a course for long and straight hitters. The greens are extremely quick, and water comes into play on almost every hole. An excellent layout with some great elevation changes on the par 3s.

Mae Jo Golf Resort & Spa

Mae Jo is a matured course, and hosted the 2018 Singha Chiang Mai Open. Offering excellent views of the famous Doi Suthep mountain on the way around, this Thai design is one that will sooth the eye and the score card.

Summit Green Valley Chiang Mai Country Club

Quite centrally located in Chiang Mai, the course has had some renovations done and is now one of the better tracks in Chiang Mai. Sister course to Summit Windmill in Bangkok, night golf is also available here.

North Hill Golf Club

Located close to Chiang Mai International Airport, it has a resort-style feel to the course. The course is excellently maintained with a very modern clubhouse due to being the newest course in Chiang Mai. A good way to start or end your golf experience in Chiang Mai.

Royal Chiang Mai Golf Club & Resort

This Peter Thompson parkland design is a classic. Set up in the hills outside of Chiang Mai, the nature and beauty really take over to provide a relaxing round of golf on a fair layout.

Santiburi Chiang Rai Country Club

This classic Robert Trent Jones II course is one of the very best in Thailand. Located in Chiang Rai, it is worth the short journey from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai to play this course once or twice, and enjoy the boutique feel of Chiang Rai.

Doi Suthep Sunset Tour

The Doi Suthep Sunset tour is a great way to see the most important temple in Chiang Mai, along with having the best view of the sunset over the city and valley, and enjoying some traditional local food to end your evening. Upon pick up with your own private guide, we will transfer you to the base of Doi Suthep temple. After arriving, a cable car will carry you up to the top of the hill where the temple is located. While at the temple, experience the history and tradition of the temple, the meaning of the ornate paintings adorning the temple walls, ring the ancient bells for good luck. Proceed to the view point to get the best view of the sunset, putting the cap on another great day in the Lanna capital. On the way back down, take the 300 step Snake Stairway. This Khemer belief encourages followers to take 300 steps up on the ‘stairs of knowledge’ to part take in learnings and take another step to enlightenment. Before finishing the evening, stop to enjoy some local “Khao Soi” curry noodles which is a staple food of northern Thailand.

Temples of Chiang Mai Tour

If history, culture and tradition is your thing, then the Temples of Chiang Mai tour is exactly what you would be looking for. Our guide will meet you at the hotel, and take you on your private tour around some of the most important and oldest temples in Chiang Mai. First is Wat Prasin which is home to the most sacred Buddha in Chiang Mai. Our guide will give you the history behind the Buddha, and its importance to northern Thai history. Then we will move to Wat Suan Dok, known for its unique stupas, and the temple which holds the ashes of the original ruling family of Chiang Mai. Then proceed to Wat Pratat Doi Kam which overlooks Queen Sirkit Floral Gardens and the city of Chiang Mai. This temple is popular amongst Thai people who will visit once to wish for a certain event or good luck charm, and once this happens they will come back to make merit and say thank you to the Buddha. Take some time enjoy the breathtaking views from up at the temple. Before heading back to the hotel, we will stop at San Kam Paeng which is known for its workmanship and crafts. Here, see the historical methods used to make handcrafts which are unique to the region, and played a vital economical role in the past.

Lamphun and Bor Sang Tour

Head south towards the historic province of Lamphun, the capital of the ancient Hariphunchai Empire dating back to the 7th century. Visit Wat Phra That Hariphunchai which dates back to the 11th century and houses a stupa containing a hair of Buddha. From there, head to the Dhanabadee Ceramic Museum. Ceramics have been vital to the Lamphun population and economy. Experience how the ceramics are made and painted, and have a go at making one of your own. After a successful ceramic experience, head back north to the village of Borsang which is known for making ornate Thai-style umbrellas. Meander amongst the shops to see how the umbrellas are handcrafted from just Bamboo and Sa Paper. Each umbrella has a unique painting on it. From Borsang, head back to Chiang Mai to enjoy an evening in town.

Doi Tung Royal Villa and Mae Fah Luang Gardens

Visit the Doi Tung Royal Villa, which has been and currently is a spot where the Thai Royal Family uses when heading to northern Thailand. The villa is ornate and beautiful, yet surprisingly simple in its layout and design. Set in the hills, it offers excellent views and climate. Learn about the Thai Royal Family, and how they have used the Royal Villa as a staging point to better the local community. From there, head down to the beautiful Mae Fah Luang garden which is home to some of the Royal Family’s favourite fauna.
