Tour the Balinese Rice Fields and Learn the Trade

This full day tour will take you on an exploration of the rice fields and places off the tourist track. This tour includes some hiking so if you plan to include this, bring some good footwear and light clothes.  This tour includes a visit to the Tegalalang rice fields where rice is planted on cascading terraces. See how this is done, learn about the seasons and the work that goes into each grain of rice, and snap some pictures which offer great memories of this beautiful part of Bali. From there, cool down while wandering through Bali’s largest Bamboo forest. The tour is complete with a local Indonesian lunch and your own private guide.

Ancient Bali Temple Tour

This tour will take you to three of Bali’s most revered temples, through one of the best coffee plantations and a small rice terrace. Visit the Taman Ayun Temple, the Ulun Danu Bratan Temple and the beautiful lake that surrounds it, as well as the Tanah Lot Temple which is a Balinese Hindu temple. Your private guide will give you all of the history and tradition of each of the temples, and explain their significance to the people of Bali. While on the tour, there will be a stop at Jatiharum Luwak Coffee Plantation to see the coffee cultivation and try some of the local brew. You will also stop at a small rice plantation to see how the local rice growers ply their trade amongst the lush green hills of Bali.
